We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Veterinary ECC Internship at Animal Referral Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Primary Clinical Work
- Approximately 75% evening and night shifts, 25% day shifts.
- 1:2 weekends.
- No expectation for sole charge.
- Training and Development
- Two-week rotations in each of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Anaesthesia, and Diagnostic Imaging.
- Benefits
- Four weeks annual leave per calendar year.
- One week study leave.

- Professional Growth
- Weekly ECC induction modules over the first 12 weeks.
- Weekly intern rounds, topic reviews, MMR, and assignments.
- RECOVER accreditation.
- Participation in Wet Pracs for development of technical and surgical skills.
- Publications and presentations.
Program Completion
- Written and oral exam at the completion of 18 months.
- Upon successful completion, a veterinary associate position in ECC may be offered within the Animal Referral Hospital team or at another Victorian site.
