Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join our team. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency and critical care services to patients, including triage, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Work collaboratively with our team of specialists, including ECC specialists, internal medicine specialists, and surgeons
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours care as needed
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for complex patients, working closely with our critical care team
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working as an emergency or general practice veterinarian
  • Experience working in a busy multi-disciplinary hospital is highly regarded
  • Availability to work a sustainable roster, including day, night, and evening shifts, including 1:3 weekends and some public holidays
  • Ability to work sole charge and manage routine emergency presentations
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in critical care medicine
