We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Veterinary ECC Internship candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary Clinical Work: The selected candidate will be responsible for primary clinical work within our Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) department, working closely with our experienced team of veterinarians and support staff.
- Training and Development: Our comprehensive training program will provide the candidate with the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in ECC, including rotations in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Anaesthesia, and Diagnostic Imaging.
- Support and Resources: The candidate will have access to our state-of-the-art facilities, including our ECC department, and will be supported by our experienced team of veterinarians and support staff.
- Professional Development: The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in regular rounds, topic reviews, and case studies, and will be encouraged to present their work at conferences and workshops.
- Accreditation and Certification: The candidate will have the opportunity to gain RECOVER accreditation and will be supported in their pursuit of certification in ECC.
- Publications and Presentations: The candidate will have the opportunity to publish their work in scientific journals and present their research at conferences and workshops.
- Career Opportunities: Upon successful completion of the program, the candidate may be offered a veterinary associate position in ECC within our team or at another Victorian Greencross site.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: The candidate must be a qualified veterinarian with a strong interest in ECC.
- Skills: The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience: The candidate must have relevant experience in ECC, including rotations in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Anaesthesia, and Diagnostic Imaging.
