**Business Intake Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Intake Specialist to join our Risk & Legal Excellence function. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of AML/CTF regulations and have a proven track record in building processes that support excellence and integrity.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end business intake checks for new clients and matters, including conflict screening and AML/CTF due diligence.
  • Advise partners and internal teams on regulatory obligations and escalation pathways.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members to build consistency and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate on policy roll-outs, system upgrades, and stakeholder training.
  • Contribute to pilot programs and strategic projects across the Risk & Legal Excellence function.
  • Deliver timely, actionable feedback to the Business Intake Manager and senior leadership based on insights from daily operations.

**Requirements:

  • Experience with AML/CTF, KYC/CDD processes and systems such as Intapp and other compliance risk platforms.
  • Detailed knowledge of AML/CTF requirements, conflicts rules and risks in the legal industry.
  • A bachelor degree or higher; a recognised AML/Compliance qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and related productivity tools.

  • Strong problem-solving capability, with a methodical and practical approach.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.
