Paediatric Speech Pathologist

We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with children aged 0-7 years, delivering early childhood intervention services and building on each family's strengths.
  • They will also be responsible for delivering goal-directed therapy services to young people and adults experiencing learning language communication feeding sensory intellectual physical and cognitive difficulties.
  • A key aspect of this role is collaborating with parents teachers and carers to educate them and nurture change.
  • This requires effective communication and collaboration skills to achieve the goals of individuals and their support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality paediatric speech pathology services to clients in accordance with professional standards.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualised treatment plans to address client needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including healthcare professionals educators and families to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Speech Pathology or related field.
  • Registration as a Speech Pathologist with the relevant professional body.
  • Experience working with children and families in a clinical or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
