- Providing strong clinical leadership to ensure an engaged, collaborative, and innovative Speech Therapy team.
- Providing clinical expertise and supervision to the Speech Therapy team.
- Enhancing the team's ability to assess, diagnose and treat paediatric conditions.
- Working alongside the Child Health Manager in supporting staff capacity building, speech pathology service review, development, and growth.
- Supporting quality improvement activities, including the review and implementation of clinical service delivery models to enhance service quality, outcomes and demand management
- Supporting multi-disciplinary team collaboration and transdisciplinary models of support.
- Supporting the development of an early career/graduate pathway and the coordination of Speech student placements.
- Provision of high-quality speech pathology services to children and families.
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology (Bachelor or Masters), and registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Minimum of 7 years post qualifying professional practice.
- Advanced clinical skills and demonstrated experience in teaching, mentoring, supervision and support of Speech Pathologists and students.
- Extensive knowledge and experience working with children, young people and their families conducting assessments and delivering speech pathology intervention-based services and programs within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience leading, or high-level involvement with, quality improvement initiatives, clinical leadership, or in change management.
