At SLCN Therapy, we're dedicated to empowering children and young people with disabilities to thrive. We're seeking a passionate and motivated Speech Therapist to join our growing interdisciplinary team in Derrimut, Victoria. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of professionals including a behaviour therapist, developmental educator, and supportive admin staff.
SLCN Therapy is a family-centred allied health organisation providing evidence-based early intervention and therapy services to children aged 0–18 and their families. We're committed to creating a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment where both participants and team members can flourish.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Speech Therapist, you'll play a key role in helping children reach their full potential by:
- Conducting standardised assessments and developing individualised therapy plans
- Supporting children with developmental delays and autism spectrum conditions
- Delivering therapy in clinic, home, school, and online settings
- Coaching parents and caregivers to embed therapy into daily routines
- Collaborating with families to set meaningful, functional goals
- Monitoring progress and celebrating achievements
- Promoting inclusion and participation in community life
- Working closely with other professionals to ensure holistic care

What You'll Need
- Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
- Passion for working with children and families
- Experience in paediatric assessments and therapy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Required checks: WWCC, Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid, Driver's Licence
