Deputy Electoral Commissioner Role

This is a rare key leadership position that offers an exceptional opportunity to bring exceptional leadership to the team and drive the strategic direction of the organisation.

The appointee will play a pivotal role in implementing organisational change across various disciplines, providing executive leadership and management in the delivery of complex statewide electoral events, operational activities, and technology modernisation.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in business, public administration, or law
  • A proven ability to operate with the highest levels of ethical behaviour, honesty, integrity, and respect
  • Experience leading a complex organisation at an executive level

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Implementing and driving organisational change
  • Providing executive leadership and management in the delivery of complex statewide electoral events and operational activities
  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships with government and non-government organisations

As a senior leader, you will be responsible for exercising all delegated powers in the absence of the Electoral Commissioner.
