About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Executive Technical Advisor to join our team in Veolia ANZ's Technical and Innovation department. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide technical leadership and support to business development, projects, and operations in waste and water treatment fields.

Key Responsibilities

  • To establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders within our water, waste, and energy functions, business development, and the broader Technical & Innovation Department.
  • To develop technical solutions and promote operational best practice initiatives.
  • To ensure technical solutions meet project requirements, comply with standards and regulations, and support approval processes.
  • To align with Commercial & Project Management by providing input on financial models, budgets, timelines, commercial negotiations, and align with the Project Management Framework.
  • To champion sustainable solutions, promote innovations to reduce carbon emissions, and help achieve sustainability goals.
  • To identify and manage risks, conduct risk assessments, implement safety management plans, and ensure compliance with OH&S and environmental policies.
  • To provide operational support, assist with market reviews, feasibility studies, tender input, and evaluate new ideas.
