The Opportunity
  • As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will be the senior technical interface, providing business and technical consultancy to the sales team during the sales process and serving as the conduit between customer and internal teams during project initiation.
  • You will provide technical leadership and mentoring to other Technical Consultants, focusing on the implementation of complex, large solutions for non-standard and strategic opportunities.
  • Responsibilities include providing pre-sales technical design and solution support to the BDM's and Account Executives, assisting in the management of RFT responses, and contributing to managed blogging, marketing, and PR campaigns.
  • You will create, modify, and run the Trusted Advisor program, as well as contribute to the content preparation of responses to RFT's and equivalents on Hosting solutions and capabilities.
Ideal Skills and Experience
  • Degree in Engineering/Computer Science
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in consulting roles, with experience across Azure cloud infrastructure and/or security required.
  • Previous experience as a principal consultant ideally in a cloud managed services provider is highly desirable.
  • Detailed knowledge of Macquarie Technology Group's infrastructure/solutions and/or competitors' products and solutions is essential.
