Support Care Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Support Care Professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing essential support services to individuals in need, including routine activities of a support nature and customer contact interaction.

This is a casual opportunity that requires the ability to work shift hours, using a comprehensively insured vehicle for work purposes (preferred).

Please note: COVID-19 vaccination or medical exemption is required as per QLD Public Health Order.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake daily routines to ensure the well-being of clients;
  • Interact with clients to provide emotional support and encouragement;
  • Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry duties;
  • Attend to personal care needs, including administering medication and assistance with daily living activities;
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Clean driving license and willingness to use own vehicle for work purposes;
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or ability to obtain;
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English;
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook and Internet Explorer;
  • Possess a current Yellow Card - or ability to acquire;
  • Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable populations;
