**Suncare Support Worker - what's involved in the role**

This is a rewarding community based role where you will be supported by engaged managers and have ongoing support. We are seeking permanent part-time Support Workers (contracts with a minimum of 30 to 60 hours per fortnight) to provide support to our customers in and around the Caloundra, Aroona, Kings Beach area.

Depending on your availability, hours of work for this role would typically be between Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm.

The role of a Suncare Support Worker actively supports the individual needs of aged people who are living at home, either independently or with family. No two days are the same with our customers and may include delivering personal care, household domestic assistance (cleaning bathrooms, mopping, dusting), meal preparation, accompanying them on shopping trips, appointments, community activities, providing general companionship, and helping them build social networks.

For this position you will be required to be physically fit, hold an open Queensland Driver's licence and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring that your vehicle is appropriately insured. A National Police Check and CPR and First Aid certificates are also required in this position. We require flexibility to attend shifts with mínimal notice and have the ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision.
