This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of skilled professionals. Experience in managing a workshop environment is desirable, but not essential.

As a Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing branch asset maintenance, fleet management, and servicing schedules. You will also drive productivity and performance across the workshop, while ensuring all work practices are cost-effective and maximize fleet availability.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a large workshop team with a strong safety-first culture.
  • Provide expert guidance on diagnostics and equipment servicing to meet customer requirements.
  • Oversee branch asset maintenance, fleet management, and servicing schedules.
  • Drive productivity and performance across the workshop.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

What We're Looking For
  • Mechanical trade qualification (e.g., Fitter Mechanic, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic, Mobile Plant Mechanic) is essential.
  • Proven experience in successfully managing a workshop environment is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on staff development and performance.
  • Excellent planning, time management, and cost control abilities.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
