SA Health is seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team in the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. As a key member of our community health team, you will contribute to the delivery of comprehensive and integrated mental health services to consumers and the local community.
About the RoleThis is a temporary full-time position working up to 30 June 2025. You will work with consumers across community, acute, and rehabilitation service settings, utilizing a combination of therapeutic approaches to assess, select, and implement different interventions and support programs. You will also evaluate progress and work within pre-determined guidelines in a multidisciplinary primary health care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assess consumers and select appropriate therapeutic interventions and support programs
- Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and programs
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive mental health services
- Utilize strength-based approaches and the principles of positive psychology to promote recovery and well-being
To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy or Social Work, and be eligible for membership with the relevant professional association. You will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work well within a team environment.
