Key Responsibilities- Design and develop flight control and actuated systems for New Shepard
- Participate in the entire design cycle, from system architecture to manufacturing and integration
- Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to ensure safe and repeatable space flight
- Identify and implement design changes to improve system reliability and reduce operational cost
- Participate in verification audits and component/subsystem level testing
- B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in aerospace development or similar industries
- Demonstrated experience in aerospace or related industry in areas such as servo controlled hydraulic actuation, electro-mechanical actuation, and mechanisms
- Proficiency in 3D CAD programs and analysis tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- M.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
- Proficiency in Creo, Windchill, and Ansys
- Test instrumentation and data acquisition experience
- Hands-on experience with machining, building, and maintaining pressurized or mechanical systems
