Achieve Space Exploration Ambitions with SpaceXWe seek a seasoned Sr. Structural Engineer to lead our launch pad development team in crafting a second orbital launch pad and related infrastructure for Starship, the world's most powerful rocket.
- Liaise with expert engineers across disciplines to design, build, and activate the launch pad.
- Develop technical documents and reports for various projects.
- Conduct structural analysis calculations for steel and concrete.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors.
- Manage construction projects' civil and structural aspects.
- Provide on-site engineering inspections.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in civil or structural design, analysis, construction, and drafting.
- Foster a culture of high personal accountability.
- Understand other disciplines like mechanical, electrical, and geotechnical.
- Create detailed drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
- Experience with SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, or similar analysis software.
- Familiarity with AISC steel manual, ACI code 318, ASCE 7, and IBC.
- Hold a Professional Engineering (PE) or Structural Engineering (SE) license.
