Customer Service Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Customer Service Specialist to join our Optical team. As an Optical Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, providing personalized optical solutions, and assisting customers with all their eye care needs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer
- Suggest products that meet customers' needs and close sales
- Explain how products work and demonstrate how to use them
- Commit to attending regular training to stay up-to-date on the latest products and services
- Operate cash registers and EFTPOS facilities efficiently and accurately
- Manage inventory and ensure displays are merchandised appropriately
- Work flexible hours, including day, evening, and weekend shifts
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent personal and professional presentation
- Energetic and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service
- Cash handling and EFTPOS experience
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Willingness to supply or undergo a police check prior to commencement
- Ideal Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing or willingness to undertake relevant on-the-job training
- Current driver's license and reliable motor vehicle
