Procurement Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned procurement leader to join our team as Associate Director Procurement. As a key member of our leadership group, you will be responsible for driving strategic procurement initiatives and delivering value for money outcomes.

About the Role

The Associate Director Procurement will lead the development and implementation of procurement policies, frameworks, and systems. You will manage complex tenders, contracts, and negotiations, providing expert advice to executive leaders and stakeholders. Additionally, you will drive innovative sourcing strategies to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including tendering, contracting, and contract management.
  • Provide expert procurement advice to executive leaders and stakeholders.
  • Drive value for money outcomes through effective contract management and negotiation.
  • Support innovative sourcing strategies to meet evolving business needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven expertise in managing procurement functions in a complex environment.
  • Strong contract management and risk mitigation skills.
  • High-level stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities.
  • Eligibility for membership with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent.
  • A strong understanding of the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework is highly desirable.
