
Advanced Rocket Trajectory Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Trajectory Analysis Engineer to lead the development of advanced rocket analysis solutions.
This role involves analyzing launch vehicle trajectories and performance in the presence of faults, finding creative flight plan solutions to enable mission objectives, and generating flight safety deliverables.
The selected candidate will work closely with internal operations teams, flight reliability teams, hardware teams, and external regulatory partners to achieve mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex orbital mechanics and classical dynamics models
- Develop and evaluate flight termination system mission rules
- Support launch and mission operations of vehicles enabled by your analysis
- Conduct thorough flight data review and provide actionable insights
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in physics or an engineering discipline
- Experience with orbital mechanics, classical dynamics, modeling, and simulation
- Proficiency in Python or C++ programming languages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- 1+ year of professional experience in trajectory analysis and aerodynamics
- Demonstrated project or professional experience in launch vehicle and/or spacecraft systems
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Passion for advancing the commercial space industry and human spaceflight
