Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at SA Health, providing adult speech pathology services to clients in the Barossa/Gawler and Mt Barker community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive range of speech pathology services to meet the needs of the community.
  • Manage a complex caseload and support team members in managing service demands.
  • Contribute to team, discipline, and network meetings, and review, develop, and adapt clinical and administrative resources.
  • Provide clinical supervision to less experienced allied health professionals, assistants, and students.
Requirements
  • Recognised qualification in speech pathology and eligibility for practicing membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia.
  • Experience in speech pathology service provision, with ability to support clients, carers, and families across the patient journey.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Working Arrangements

The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working, including part-time arrangements.

Security Clearance

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
