Speech Pathologist

We are seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our team in an educational setting, working with students with disabilities in the lovely Granite Belt region of QLD.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to deliver tailored support services to students with disabilities as a member of the Specialist Disability Support in Schools. You will work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and other allied health professionals to provide comprehensive support to students with disabilities within educational settings.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech, language, communication skills, and educational needs.
- Create and execute personalized therapy plans tailored to address students' specific objectives and challenges.
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment and support inclusive learning practices.
- Provide training and support to school staff and parents on strategies to support students' needs.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy interventions as necessary to ensure continued growth and development.

- Tertiary Qualification Speech Pathology (with SPA membership).
- Experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities, preferably within a school or educational setting.
- Current driver's license and car is a MUST, you will be travelling between Stanthorpe and Warwick visiting various schools.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
