About the Role

  • Demonstrate proven skills in the management of both elective and emergency Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery.
  • Demonstrate training, knowledge and expertise in Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery.
  • Show proven clinical excellence and demonstrated ability to research develop and implement high quality major teaching and educational initiatives in the speciality area.
  • Maintain the process of clinical audit.
  • Participate in Unit Outpatient Clinics.
  • Participate in the emergency on-call roster under the supervision of a Consultant Surgeon as directed by the Director of Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery and the Chair of Surgery.
  • Undertake and supervise emergency surgery as required.
  • Assist in the training of the Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery Registrars and be responsible for supervising and assisting surgical registrars and principal house officers to initiate and complete research projects for presentation and publication.
