We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical / Tailings Engineer to join our team based in Brisbane. This role is ideal for a talented, experienced professional eager to contribute to and manage challenging projects.

Civil/Geotechnical/Tailings dam design

  • Analysis and assessment of geotechnical conditions to ensure safe and efficient operation of tailing dams.

Geotechnical analyses using various software packages

  • Design and implementation of instrumentation monitoring systems to monitor and manage geotechnical risks.

Understanding of tailing deposition modelling (Muk3D)

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to provide exceptional service and support.

Geotechnical and environmental site characterisation

  • Prepare and present reports, designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications to clients and stakeholders.

Development and management of instrumentation monitoring systems

  • Promote a positive workplace culture that values diversity and inclusion.

Project management and proposal support

  • Support the growth and development of our team through training and mentorship opportunities.

Preparation of reports, design calculations, drawings, and specifications

  • Foster strong relationships with clients to build trust and loyalty.
Education and Licensure
  • Bachelor's in civil or geotechnical engineering required.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional registration preferred.

This role requires a minimum of 8 years relevant experience; 10+ preferred. Proficiency with geotechnical software is essential, as well as knowledge of numerical modeling. Excellent communication skills, fieldwork readiness, and a valid Australian driver's license are also required.
