Payroll Officer Role

This is a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Payroll Officer. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail, with 4+ years of experience in end-to-end payroll processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively processing payroll across various pay runs, including weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing payroll adjustments, such as salary increments, new hires, and termination payments
  • Facilitating month-end process and reconciliations, including superannuation, payroll tax, and workcover payments
  • Providing timely and accurate payroll advice and support to employees and managers
  • Working across multiple awards and EBAs, interpreting relevant information

The right candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to form good internal relationships, and have intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
