Enterprise Account Executive for Business Growth and Expansion

MongoDB is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Account Executive to join our team in Melbourne. This role will focus on expanding business within existing accounts, leveraging strong relationships and strategic sales skills to drive revenue growth.
About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a leading technology company, utilizing your expertise to identify, qualify, and close high-value sales pipelines. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end-users, resulting in growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, qualify, and close sales pipelines, driving revenue growth within assigned territories.
- Strategically prospect into key decision-makers, including CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end-users.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering growth opportunities and driving business expansion.
- Partner with Solution Architects and collaborate with Professional Services and Customer Success teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Work closely with the enterprise ecosystem partner sales and channel partner to maximize deal sizes.
- Participate in sales enablement training programs, including comprehensive Sales Bootcamps and leadership development initiatives.
Your Background
- 10+ years of field experience in quota-carrying roles, with a proven track record of overachieving sales targets.
- Demonstrated ability to sell into new lines of business within open accounts, with a complex sales process.
- Able to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology and build strong business champions.
- Fluent in English and skilled in building effective relationships.
- Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales) and familiarity with databases and open-source technology are plus factors.
