Nambour Selangor Private Hospital has an opportunity for a nursing assistant to join our general surgical ward and day surgery unit. You will work under the guidance of experienced clinicians to provide safe and effective patient care.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting with patient daily living tasks and delegated tasks
  • Providing transportation and manual handling assistance
  • Cleaning equipment and preparing beds
  • Restocking supplies to ensure efficient operations

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Health Care or similar qualification
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • High level of interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to work according to directions
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills
  • Understanding of infection control principles

Remuneration for this role includes a base hourly rate ranging from $25.73 - $31.05 + superannuation and applicable penalties, based on experience level and qualifications.

Nambour Selangor Private Hospital is a 76-bed healthcare facility providing a range of medical and surgical services. Conveniently located within 30 minutes of Caloundra, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, and Coolum Beach, and 20 minutes from the Hinterland towns of Montville and Mapleton.
