Cloud Software Development Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-enabled applications that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.

Your responsibilities will include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, identifying and implementing enhancements to optimize system performance and maintainability, and collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and support projects throughout their lifecycle.

You will report into the Integration Dev Lead where you will leverage cloud platform services and infrastructure-as-code tools to build, manage, and secure scalable software.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from enhancing software performance and scalability through sound architectural and coding practices, to adhering to established governance standards, methodologies, work practices, and toolsets to deliver reliable system outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-enabled applications using native services, serverless frameworks, and containerized environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement enhancements to optimize system performance and maintainability.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and support projects throughout their lifecycle.
  • Adhere to established governance standards, methodologies, work practices, and toolsets to deliver reliable system outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud technologies and ability to design, develop, and deploy applications using native services, serverless frameworks, and containerized environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure and platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Proficiency in Linux and server system administration.
  • Expertise in MS SQL, GitHub, Github actions, ArgoCD for CI/CD pipelines and code scanning tools (Veracode, CodeQL).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Development Industry.
  • Ability to utilize, implement, and configure Splunk and Datadog to monitor application performance, analyze logs, and enable proactive issue detection.
  • Experience in working and delivering outcomes in large-scale technology project initiatives.
