Chief Front-End Software Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned software architect to spearhead our front-end systems in Bangkok, Thailand. As a chief front-end architect, you will be responsible for driving technological advancements and architecting high-performance user interfaces that elevate the travel experience for millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement highly distributed large-scale front-end applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and improve scalable solutions.
  • Serve as a front-end expert on large projects, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Evaluate new technologies and develop proof-of-concept implementations.
  • Implement strategic decisions in cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain coding standards and stay updated on industry developments.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of software development experience in building large-scale web applications, with at least 3 years in a lead architect role.
  • Proven experience designing, building, improving, and operating high-performance, scalable front-end systems.
  • Extensive experience with client-side technologies and modern frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, React).
  • Able to work with multiple programming languages and frameworks, striving for technical excellence.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with physical architecture at scale, focusing on resilience and availability.
  • Strong expertise in client-side performance optimization.
