The Chief Information Officer Division (CIOD) is responsible for delivering robust ICT functions and capabilities, maintaining election-ready systems, and driving an ambitious ICT transformation and modernisation agenda.

Job Summary

This role will support the agency to architect and document long-term development and deployment goals for federal events such as elections and major projects across the country.

Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines, repositories, and artefacts, ensuring that cloud platforms are current in their toolsets, resilient, secure and automated wherever possible.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with deploying and maintaining Azure resources, relevant technology certifications across the cloud infrastructure landscape, and extensive experience building and maintaining complex Azure DevOps pipelines.

Prior experience with GIT version control and common branching strategies is also required, as well as the ability to communicate and consult with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in developing pipelines that deploy Infrastructure as a code (IAC)
  • Hands-on experience with deploying and maintaining Azure resources
  • Relevant technology certifications across the cloud infrastructure landscape
  • Extensive experience building and maintaining complex Azure DevOps pipelines
