Active Tree Services, a leading provider of arboriculture and vegetation management services, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional results for the City of Sydney. As a seasoned urban forester, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our City of Sydney team, ensuring operational budgets, targets, and obligations are met while mentoring and managing a dedicated team.
This is a rare opportunity to work at a managerial level at Active, a company renowned for its innovation, safety, and 'One Team' philosophy, on a forward-looking urban forest management project. You will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of skilled arborists in delivering high-quality services to the City of Sydney
- Managing and mentoring a dedicated team to achieve operational targets and budgets
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the City of Sydney's urban forest management team
- Ensuring a safe work culture and adhering to WHS legislation and Quality Assurance
- Contributing to business development, financial management, and relationship management
We are looking for a client- and team-committed leader with:
- Minimum AQF V arboriculture qualification and 5 years' experience
- Proven operations team leadership and client management skills
- Commitment to maintaining and improving a safe work culture
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Ability to increase knowledge and skills and take control of professional development
