About the Role

The Data Portfolio Head will be responsible for leading and delivering large-scale data and analytics projects across various business units within Pyramid Global Technologies. This role requires a strong leader with expertise in data transformation, digital, or similar projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning:
  • Develop business cases with the customer and project director
  • Create detailed work plans in PPM, identifying and sequencing activities for successful project completion
  • Determine required resources for project completion
  • Review project schedules with senior management and affected staff, revising as needed
  • Conduct impact assessments on project scope regarding Privacy, AML/CTF, Security, Data Governance, and Business Continuity Management
Project Implementation:
  • Evaluate project quality, budget, delivery timelines, and strategy to ensure sponsor expectations are met
  • Adhere to customers' project management methodology
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring projects run according to plan
  • Document information in PPM to secure project details
  • Work with project team members to execute the plan successfully
  • Collaborate with external parties to deliver quality outcomes while building rapport and trust
Project Reporting and Control:
  • Maintain projects within agreed cost parameters, managing changes through accepted change management processes
  • Monitor and control performance against planning, providing reports to Steering Committees, Project Management Office, and Fund management
  • Report on project quality, sponsor success metrics, and other key portfolio review metrics during scheduled meetings
  • Manage costs within project budgets
  • Highlight issues that may affect project delivery in a timely manner
Project Communication:
  • Establish clear project expectations
  • Develop a communication schedule to update stakeholders on project progress
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with sponsors and stakeholders
  • Use sound judgment in project communication, keeping key stakeholders informed of project activities
  • Communicate progress, risks, expectations, timelines, milestones, and key project metrics to sponsors and team members
