Asia Pacific Data Protection Program Manager

We are seeking an exceptional professional to lead our data protection initiatives in the Asia Pacific region. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to our global organization and enhance our ability to manage risks associated with personal data.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in data protection, either through legal practice, in-house operational risk/compliance or a professional services environment. They will possess a strong understanding of key global data protection frameworks and local data privacy rules. The ideal candidate will be a certified program manager, preferably from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (CIPM), and demonstrate excellent project management skills.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the implementation of data protection best practices across the Asia Pacific region
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Collaborate with the business to identify, monitor and manage risk associated with the use of personal data

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as law, computer science or information systems
  • At least 5 years of experience in data protection, compliance or a related field
  • Certification in program management from a recognized institution, such as CIPM
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
