As the Catalogue Manager (Australia and New Zealand) you will contribute to keeping people and parts moving throughout the world, through ensuring we have a market leading catalogue, achieved through thought leadership and project management of data structures, analytics, vendor engagement, processes and store and customer support.
**Key areas of responsibility**
- Management of a team of five direct reports, spread across both Australia and New Zealand
- Ensure that the teams efforts are aligned with the business strategies
- Develop and maintain key relationships with key internal & external stakeholders
- Develop strong relationships with local, NZ and global customers and peers
- Act as a thought leader in the catalogue and data space
- Develop plans and frameworks to ensure that GPC has a market leading catalogue today and into the future
- Work with vendors to onboard into GPC preferred systems
- Implement metrics to measure vendor performance and conduct discussions to improve the quality of data
- Communicate with suppliers as required to ensure accurate system data
- Build business cases to support the development of the catalogue
- Interact of a frequent basis with stakeholders to ensure needs are being met
- Develop a customer centric team; having the customer at the heart of everything we do
- Keep up to date with changes and technology and catalogue data structures within the automotive / industrial industry, by aligning with catalogue team and external industry sources
**Role Requirements**:
- Previous digital catalogue experience in a fast paced, high volume consumer and/or trade business
- Experience in the management of a geographically diverse team
- Understanding of vehicle mechanics and automotive part structures
- Strong project management skills
- Knowledge of user experience in part/product selection
- Supplier Management (desirable)
- Data analysis, reporting and problem solving
- Intermediate MS Office
- Tertiary - University or Trade Qualification
