Physiotherapist - Aiding Recovery in Adelaide Hills

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network.

About the Role

This part-time position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and presentations, providing a range of physiotherapy services appropriate to their needs.

  • The successful candidate will plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive and integrated physiotherapy services for inpatient, outpatient, Transitional Care Package, Rehabilitation and aged care clients.
  • They will oversee the equipment and functionality of the gym space in the hospital setting and contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, assistants and students.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and deliver a range of physiotherapy services to meet the needs of diverse client groups.
  2. Work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
  3. Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans that address the physical, emotional and social needs of clients.
  4. Provide education and support to clients, families and carers to promote optimal outcomes.
  5. Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A recognised qualification in physiotherapy and eligibility for full membership of the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated advanced rural generalist skills, including cultural sensitivity and community participation principles.
  • The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
