Team Leader Road Services

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader to lead our Road Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the planning and delivery of road maintenance programs, facilitating timely inspections and responses to customer requests, and effectively managing roads staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of road preventative maintenance programs.
  • Facilitate timely inspections and response of council's local road network.
  • Effectively manage roads staff involved in the operations of road preventative maintenance programs.
  • Work as a key team member of the Infrastructure and Delivery Department.
  • Provide input and assist in preparing budget estimates and recommendations for road capital improvement programs.
Requirements
  • A trade equivalent qualification in Civil Construction or substantial relevant experience.
  • An understanding of road management plans and associated policies and procedures.
  • Previous experience in managing a team and balancing shifting work priorities.
  • The ability to manage time and set priorities.
  • A current Victorian driver's license or state equivalent.
