Branch Leadership Role

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 76-hour fortnightly roster. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team and driving business growth through leadership, team coaching, and commercial development.

The ideal candidate will have strong people leadership skills, with experience in staff performance development and management. You should also have proven sales mentorship skills and be able to implement strategies to drive business growth.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and lead a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.
  • Drive operational efficiencies and maintain high standards of compliance.
  • Work closely with the Community Bank board to build community relationships and establish yourself as the go-to person for banking.
  • Be accountable for the branch's financial performance and make recommendations to improve profitability.

The successful candidate will be a lifelong learner, always looking for ways to improve their skills and knowledge. They will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with customers and the local community.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • People leadership skills with staff performance development and management experience.
  • Proven sales mentorship skills with ability to implement strategies to drive business growth.
  • Experience in residential and commercial lending.
  • Strong communication skills to deliver clear branch expectations.
  • Understanding of financial management, business acumen, and risk framework.
  • The ability to drive operational efficiencies and maintain high standards of compliance.
  • High-level understanding of lending products, policies, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of retail branch operations.
