Customer Service Ambassador

Australia Post is transforming the way it delivers, and we're looking for talented individuals to join our team as Retail Customer Service Officers.
Role OverviewThis relief role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple post offices within a geographical area. As a Retail Customer Service Officer, you will be part of a welcoming team, providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service and sales transactions, ensuring every experience is a great one.
- Manage high-value transactions accurately, handling cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS.
- Conduct identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews.
- Promote products and services through up-selling, cross-selling, merchandising, and promotional activities.
- Assist with mail lodgements and associated costs.
- Build rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs.
- Support administrative duties, such as stocktaking and record maintenance.
We invest in our people's growth, offering extensive training on commencement, from Monday to Saturday, 8:45am - 5:06pm initial 5 weeks. This part-time position comes with a casual rate of $33.66 / hour, increasing to $35.98 / hour after 3 months, plus 12% Superannuation.
Your Skills and Qualifications- You have experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
- You are fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.
