Senior HSE Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Advisor to join our team. This role is responsible for providing expert advice on HSE matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and promoting a positive safety culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HSE support to project teams, including the development of HSE plans, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Monitor and review HSE performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective HSE strategies and programs.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff awareness of HSE issues.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Formal OSH qualifications, such as a Certificate IV or Diploma.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and coach staff at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
