Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to manage the operational aspects of a world-renowned tennis tournament held at Melbourne Park.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all logistical aspects of the event, including venue readiness, infrastructure setup, stakeholder engagement, and event delivery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless planning and execution of the event.
  • Accreditation Management: Oversee the accreditation process, ensuring accurate processing and efficient coordination.
  • Venue Setup and Maintenance: Coordinate site setup and bump-in/bump-out phases, providing detailed handover reporting to stakeholders.
  • Operational Readiness: Drive venue readiness through close collaboration with operations, workforce, and client teams.
  • Event Documentation: Manage event documentation using Iventis and other tools, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Tournament Safety: Liaise with emergency services and stakeholders to ensure a safe and secure environment for participants and spectators.

  • Event Planning Expertise: Strong background in event planning and operational delivery, with a proven track record of success.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience in building and maintaining relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Operational Skills: Hands-on experience in event site readiness, accreditation processes, and infrastructure logistics, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Calm Under Pressure: Proven ability to remain calm under pressure and think critically in fast-paced environments.
