Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned leader to fill the position of Executive Sous Chef in our catering division. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in high-volume food preparation, team management, and quality control.

As Executive Sous Chef, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain the highest standards of food safety and presentation. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless execution of menus, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

This role offers the chance to develop your skills in leadership, time management, and communication while contributing to a dynamic team that delivers exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs and catering attendants to achieve desired outcomes
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards of food safety and presentation
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute menus, manage inventory, and optimize kitchen resources
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Trade qualified with extensive experience as a Sous Chef or higher

Proven track record in managing high-volume food preparation, leading teams, and maintaining quality control

Strong knowledge of HACCP principles, food safety, and WHS protocols

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
