Procurement Expert

The Procurement Expert role is a challenging and exciting opportunity to source alternative factory options for existing products, as well as find new factories that meet our quality and cost targets.

As a Procurement Expert, you will be responsible for working closely with the Design team to understand their requirements and develop a deep understanding of the technical details involved in sourcing and procuring products.

This is a unique opportunity to work on complex problems, develop your skills and expertise, and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source alternative factory options for existing products
  • Find new factories that meet our quality and cost targets
  • Work closely with the Design team to understand their requirements
  • Develop a deep understanding of the technical details involved in sourcing and procuring products

Success in this role is dependent on your ability to establish new relationships with factories in different countries, navigate different cultures and languages, and find creative solutions to complex problems.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in the furniture/mattress industry
  • Ability to take custom product designs to manufacturers
  • Comfortable dealing with manufacturers from different countries
  • Knowledge of onboarding supplier audits and tender evaluation
  • Language skills other than English are a plus
