About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Allied Health Assistant to join our dynamic team. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing clinical and non-clinical support to our patients and healthcare professionals.

You will work closely with experienced Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to ensure all patients receive high-quality care. This will involve working in our inpatient rehabilitation department, where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patient conditions and ages.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as experience in patient manual handling. You will also have a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent, and be available to work weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and non-clinical support to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Work closely with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to ensure high-quality care
  • Assist with patient manual handling and transfers
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent
  • Experience in patient manual handling
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Availability to work weekends
