Seeking a detail-focused Patient Accounts Administrator to join our experienced team in delivering outstanding patient care.
">About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to help ensure timely follow-up of claims for services provided at our healthcare institution. This includes following up on unpaid accounts with patients, Medicare, DVA , TAC, and WorkCover, investigating and resolving Medicare rejections, assisting patients and their families with account-related queries, and supporting the wider team by learning additional roles to provide cover when needed.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have experience in accounts receivable, ideally within a private healthcare or medical setting. You should also be confident with medical claiming processes and collections, familiar with systems such as WebPas and Pracsoft, meticulous when it comes to detail, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
