GenesisCare is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our Victoria team. As a key member of our nursing workforce development team, you will play a critical role in delivering education, training, and professional development activities to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cancer care nursing and clinical education, with a proven ability to coordinate and evaluate education programs. You will work closely with our nursing leadership team to identify training needs and develop tailored education and training materials to support our nursing workforce.

This is a 10-month maximum term contract until August 2025. You will be based at our Head Office location, with regular travel across the state of Victoria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver education and training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop tailored education and training materials
  • Collaborate with our nursing leadership team to develop and implement education and training strategies
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of education and training programs and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Eligible for unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Postgraduate qualification in cancer care nursing or clinical education
  • Minimum of five years' experience as a nurse in the oncology setting
  • Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
