We are seeking a skilled Finance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for performing routine day-to-day accounting functions and providing support to the team more broadly.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in accounting or those looking to complement their studies at university. You may also be looking to re-enter the workforce or seek a finance role with flexibility. We are interested in diverse candidates who possess a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.

The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team. Experience with payroll would be advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Post accruals and journal entries
  • Assist with the reconciliation of accounts and general ledger
  • Assist with period-end activities in accordance with financial close schedules
  • Update existing financial models, providing financial forecasts and operational metrics tracking
  • Provide information to assist with forecast of revenues and expenditures
  • Perform routine accounts functions
  • Develop into the backup to Payroll
