We are currently recruiting Advanced Trainee Registrars to join our team on a full-time, fixed-term basis. This role is suitable for T2 and T3 trainees.

About the Role

">

The Position will manage ED patients under the direction of Emergency Medicine Consultants. You will work closely with hospital nursing staff to facilitate patient management, complete pathology requests, book radiology, and check investigation results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. ">
  2. Manage ED patients under the direction of Emergency Medicine Consultants.">
  3. Supportive FACEM-lead team-based care.">
  4. Carry out procedures within capabilities and experience.">
  5. Communicate with General Practitioners, Consultants, and Specialists as appropriate.">
  6. Document findings in the patient's medical record.">
  7. Participate in after-hours and weekend rosters.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Eligibility for registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRA.">
  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience.">
  • Demonstrated knowledge in clinical and procedural experience in an equivalent ED setting.">
  • ACEM trainee status.">
