Expert Clinical Nurse Specialist

Lifeblood seeks an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant to provide clinical expertise in donor post-test result management and counselling.
About the Role- This is a fixed term part-time position.
- A hybrid work model offers flexibility between working from home and the office.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide clinical nursing subject matter expertise for donor post-test result management and counselling.
Key Responsibilities- Postgraduate qualifications in sexual health or public health are required.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse is essential.
- At least 5 years of experience in relevant areas of practice are necessary.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, change management, and conflict resolution skills are required.
- Customer service experience, including post-test discussions, is essential.
- Ability to utilise computer systems effectively is necessary.
- Self-motivation and minimal supervision requirements are expected.
- Initiative and accuracy are key attributes.
- Integrating clinical knowledge into practice is crucial.
- Effective problem-solving, prioritisation, and task completion are essential.
- Proven ability to use information and reporting systems appropriate to the position is necessary.
