Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Contract Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing tender documents, managing subcontractors, assisting with progress claims and external variations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring all commercial activities align with our policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare tender documents and ensure they are accurate and complete.
  • Manage subcontractors, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules.
  • Assist with progress claims and external variations to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Negotiate contracts and finalise subcontracts with attention to detail.
  • Manage project expenditures, including subcontractor claims, to ensure budgets are met.
  • Work with the Contracts Manager to submit accurate and timely monthly project reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Relevant qualifications in a related field, such as a degree in construction management or a related field, along with significant experience in fit-out and refurbishment delivery. AGSVA clearance is desirable but not required.

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Contracts Administrator with a proven track record in commercial and contractual risk management.
  • Hands-on experience with procurement and management of major subcontract packages for large-scale projects.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Clear, articulate communication with the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
