Job Overview

We are currently seeking a diligent and self-motivated Contract Administrator to fill a key position in our expanding Canberra operations.

As a Contract Administrator, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of commercial projects. Your duties will include preparing, collating and evaluating tender documents for various projects, managing subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings and procurement schedules with meticulous attention to detail.

Other key responsibilities will include assisting with progress claims and external variations to ensure project timelines are met, negotiating and finalising subcontracts with a focus on commercial and contractual risk management, tracking project expenditures including subcontractor claims to ensure budgets are adhered to, submitting accurate and timely monthly project reports to the Contracts Manager.

Additionally, you will be expected to foster a climate of mutual trust in all interactions, communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure that all commercial activities align with our company's policies and procedures.

  • Tertiary qualification in a related field and significant experience in fit-out and refurbishment delivery is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Contract Administrator with a proven track record in commercial and contractual risk management is essential.
