About the Position

The Senior Associate Director of Philanthropy is a key member of our externally focused fundraising team, supporting the success of our campaign.

This role requires a proactive, relationship-driven professional who can effectively communicate our conservation and climate priorities.

The Senior Associate Director of Philanthropy will engage major gift level donors through personalized outreach, meetings, presentations and events, playing a lead role in identifying and cultivating new funding opportunities.

We offer a flexible work environment; this position may be based from a home office or our office.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage a portfolio of qualified donors and prospects including those with the capacity to give $250,000+ through one time or multi-year gifts.
  • Collaborate with the Major Gifts team to build a major donor pipeline, including qualifying and disqualifying leads.
  • Develop and execute thoughtful strategies to engage, cultivate, solicit and steward prospects and donors.
